TIGER SHARK DIVING – ROCKY BAY |
Diving with Tiger Sharks guarantees one of the most exciting adrenalin-filled dives that you are ever likely to experience. Large groups of various species of Sharks including Tiger Sharks and Black Tip Reef Sharks arrive in abundance.
The Sharks detect the scent of the chum-line and are attracted to a drum filled with bait that forms part of their natural diet.
This is a relatively shallow dive, between 5 – 7 metres deep. Once the Sharks have arrived, divers enter the water and drift along with the Sharks and observe them feeding. This is not a caged dive – you are free swimming with the feeding Sharks.
A professional, experienced team, who accompanies you on the dive, gives a full, informative pre-dive briefing.
Snorkelling with the Sharks has become very popular here in South Africa. Whilst you are diving with the Sharks, you may have people snorkelling, observing you and the Sharks together, from above.
